About

The Band Academy Singapore (BAS) is a dynamic centre for advancing wind band music and enriching musical talent while promoting collaborative community engagement. These efforts aim to strengthen musical acumen towards cultivating a robust wind band community.

 

We aim to offer

● Holistic Pedagogy: Integrates creative and interactive teaching methods like Dalcroze Eurhythmics and Kodaly Method, making the learning experience more holistic and enjoyable.

 

● Elevated Performance Platforms: Offers unique opportunities such as international experiences to deepen emotive connections and instil a heightened sense of pride and achievement, crucial for fostering resilience in today's youth.

 

The Academy also works closely with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) to conduct ABRSM Examinations for our musicians.

Conveniently located within minutes of Bras Basah MRT, our academy at Waterloo Centre is not just a musical sanctuary; it's a vibrant crossroads where culture and creativity meld. Nestled amongst galleries, artisanal shops, and historical landmarks, we offer an enriching environment beyond the classroom.
